216 Websafe ColorsThere are many different computers connected to the internet. Some are capable of reproducing all 16.777.216 (24 bits) colors that are supported by the HTML standard, but many are not. Furthermore not all operating systems have the same 256 colors in their standard palette. Only 216 different colors are universally available and therefore considered 'web-safe'. In these three tables you can find those colors arranged in a userfriendly way. The 152 colors in the first table are pure red, pure green and pure blue as well as black and white and all colors that blend well between them. This is therefore the high contrast colorDavid. The second table is filled with 56 medium contrast colors. The third table has the remaining 8 colors near gray. Using these colors guarantee you that your page looks the same to all users of the internet. You are free to use these tables for inclusion in other work, provided you include a URL to this website, as well as this notice that orders to do so. Met dank aan David, van www.mensinghe.nl. Ik vond je colorslector het mooiste. Helaas was deze verdwenen.... |
